Team Fortress 2 Sniper Update Adds New Payload Race Mode

Published: January 01, 0001 Reading Time: Approx. 8 mins

Round two of Sniper class update related news has hit the official Team Fortress 2 site. What’s new? Well, the new “Payload Race” game mode, for one, and two snazzy looking new maps.

Payload Race looks to yono business transform the already-released Payload mode—which shipped alongside the Medic rummy meet class update last April and requires the escorting of an on-rails vehicle to safety—into a dual cart pushing frenzy. Valve calls the red versus blue challenge of dual escorting “gladiatorial cart combat.” Expect the first Payload Race map, Pipeline, to hit sometime next week along with the Sniper’s new Huntsman weapon, should Valve stay on schedule.

Some games are a bit laggy on my phone at times, but the variety of games and the smooth desktop experience make up for it. Overall, the website offers a great gaming experience for both casual and serious players.
